Hayden’s Gearing up for 2006
After a highly successful 2005 season, the Hayden Racing team is working full steam ahead toward the 2006 season:
Kyle’s #22 car will look quite a bit in ‘06 like it did in ‘05, with the exception of a few sponsor changes. Duke’s Car Stereo is very excited to be back on the side of the orange Monte Carlo, and the Duke’s Cards WILL be back again for 2006. The crew will be making a few changes on the car, hoping to gain that extra little bit to catapult Kyle to the top of the standings. You will be able to see the car in action every Saturday night at Auto City, and possibly full time on the 1/3 mile at Dixie.
Johnny will be behind the wheel of a factory stock full time for the first time in his career. He purchased a former track championship car and, with a little help from the family, will be hanging a new body on it and he will be “rockin’ and rollin’” in 2006. You can expect to see Johnny running at Auto City and Dixie.
Kenny is also building a new factory stock, a Camaro, to enter into the factory stock class. However, he will not be behind the wheel all the time, as his youngest son Curtis will be racing at least part time in 2006. Curtis drove the #22 car the last night of 2005 at Auto City, finishing 10th. You can expect to see both Kenny and Curtis behind the wheel of this machine in ‘06, but don’t be suprised to see someone else behind the wheel, maybe even getting a little dirty!
“Fast” Eddie has nearly completed his Camaro to race in the factory stock class. With over 100 feature wins to his name, you can expect the “Fast One” to be a threat wherever he decides to race this season. He also owns the defending champion Thunder Truck, and don’t see suprised to see any of the Hayden boys behind the wheel of that ride throughout the season.
We are all very excited for the 2006 season, as the Hayden Racing team will be making an all-out effort to place their name in the record books. All teams are actively seeking sponsorship for the 2006 season; anyone interested can e-mail Kyle at Ragin2122@aol.com for details.
Stay warm and think Spring!!
